I like Dawkins for his antitheism and opposition to theocracy, but he is all wrong on personal disarmament. He is a high priest of climate change, a religion, but can't discern the irony.

Climate change = a thing for which we have an enormous body of confirmatory evidence.
Religion = a thing which operates on faith alone, with not a single shred of evidence.
So...that would mean they're not the same thing, George. Did I explain that simply enough for you?
At this point if you want to deny the fucking thing, I`m just gonna give you one advice, invest in a nice waterfront property, after all there`s no danger at all, the bloody global warming is as real as abrahamic apocalypse and you might as well start profiting from all the scared fools...
Don`t worry, we won`t shut our doors when you run to us, more far sighted folk with barely your life to yourself, we`ll help you out but at a price, it`s going to be just four simple words: We told you so.
That is not, in any way, shape or form, how religion works, you astonishing ignoramus. Please come back once you've gotten a clue.

Facts are the most dangerous weapons of all.
Yet, they are harmless to those who accept them.
Why does Hull have the Tidal Barrier ? And London have the Thames Flood Barrier ? Just ask the latter city's mayor Sadiq Khan.
Facts - via science & engineering - saves lives .
If a Muslim can accept them, what's your excuse, George Nasty?
"He is a high priest of climate change, a religion"
George Nashke: "I reserve the right for myself to dismiss scientific findings out of hand if accepting those findings would mean having to learn a lesson that requires behavior modification! That is, requiring ME to modify MY behavior!!"
@Mister Spak
Oh, just that contiuning to ignore the ramifications of global warming is going to lead to massive damage, a lot of which could be prevented if the lawmakers and their electorates took their heads out of their asses and made uncomfortable but necessary decisions based on the prognostications, instead of ingoring these things by and large outside of a few sane places.
But our OP refused to listen to the nerds, as they sadly always do.
What is "personal disarmament?" The outrageous notion that normal people need fewer weapons than a British policeman? I thought Dawkins' main focus was on evolution, but if he's taken up public explanations of climate change and mocking deniers, that's great.
Confused?
