As for an entire city to a "hurricane". A country was hit by a hurricane. Not just any country, the world's richest. It still is rebuilding bits of it. It could not manage a simple problem like that. On the other side of the world they were hit by a tsunami... Yet managed to not run into any of the problems that the americans did despite having no warning of the event and indeed quite a few of those countries being in a situation of war at the time, yet managed to hammer out a ceasefire and work with their enemies to improve the lives of those striken by the tsunami. It was shambolic the way the US handled Katrina. And I do not think you understand what a "nuclear weapon is". As for suitcase nukes. The US does not have one... Infact no country has one. Most nukes are kind of big...

Surviving such an attack isn't quite the point. I'm pretty sure you'd "survive" Bubonic Plague with modern medical intervention but I doubt you'd want to contract it.

Actually, virtually all of the states that have made claims to communism, socialism, Marxism, etc. are by their very existence not such a state. Remember that "fundi-ism" is also a plague on political discourse.

The real problem with Marxism is that hope to much. It hopes that humans beings want to be equal and live in a fair world. They didn´t, they don´t, they won´t. They want bigger houses, bigger cars and bigger tits than their neighbours... Sorry, I think i´m but pessimistic today :-7
