There was a day in America when nearly ALL women wore dresses (before TV came along). A woman who wore a pair of pants 100 years ago was considered a whore. Today, women who wear dresses are often looked down upon with contempt by other women. They're jealous! They want the femininity which they've lost, but can't have it and still be the feminist she-men they are. You can't have it both way ladies. Women today have lost their femininity because of feminism and pornography in society. Pornography cheapens a woman's worth in society.

I fail to see how my dusty rose spangled top and jeans are not feminine. I know this might shock you, but I know several evil feminists who wear dresses sometimes. Hell, I even wear a dress sometimes. I really like the book print dress from Svaha.
Mr. Stewart, I'm pretty sure that my black and white, tribal print lightweight trousers and hot pint vest top (accented better than I anticipated with green bra straps and green nail polish) don't look masculine. I did not wear this lot to get male attention, I wore it because we're having a heatwave over here and it looked like clothing I wouldn't boil to death in. I was right. And I looked cool wearing it, so f you.
I don't generally go for dresses because I like the feeling of having fabric around my legs. I'm used to it and it's kind of my security blanket. Every time I see a dress I like I remind myself that dresses exist and wearing them is pretty damn awesome. I just tend to gravitate back towards my preferred clothing, is all.
If you are seeing whorishness in women wearing pants, trousers or what-have-you, then that's on you. For that matter, you do realise that dresses can be sexy as well as modest, don't you? So ultimately, what's your point?
DJS fails to see how porn is, like sex (might there be a connection there?), something you keep private.
Also, women have been wearing pants since, at least the 40s. Was porn widespread at that time? By DJS' own affirmations, no.
And, lastly, how should women dress to conform to his standards? Covering, bland clothes, which do not draw the eyes of men, by not hugging the figure? So, basically what practicing muslim women wear. Funny how christian and muslim fundies basically have the same expectations for women.
Hate to break it to ya Davey, but I’m a feminist she-man, currently on the way to work in a male-dominated career, wearing a pink floral chiffon maxi dress and cute little jewelled sandals. I’m not jealous of anyone’s femininity, but I am worried about your weird pants fetish and more worried about any women who are being told they CAN’T wear what they want to.
And I`m a housewife who preffers her old, utterly broken down jeans as a house-pants pair so she can feel more comfy while prepping those sauages and rice for her hubby. Yeah I`m a housewife and I don`t dress up. What`s comfy between me legs better be comfy with my man or he`s gonna go, not my torn down pair of jeans.
JUst as an exclaimer, he is and I`m kinda known for going around in but my torn down jeans and a metalhead blouse I got from my love and which I tend to use as a pijamas to this day.
Yeah, as though David here would understand the bloody discomfort of having your thighs rub one another when wearing a dress.
I rarely wear dresses because of that, by the way. It's uncomfortable as all hell and you gotta mind how you sit and all those other shit. Fuck that.
When women had to do hard work on the farm 100 years ago, they didn't do it in dresses. When women worked in the factories during WWII, they didn't wear dresses.
And FFS, Davey's still on his anti-women in pants tirade. Women have been regularly wearing pants for 60 years or more. He's not going to force them all back into dresses. I'd suggest that we load him up in a time machine and send him back to a time when he'd be happier, but I'm afraid he'd really fuck things up for us.
Listen Short Eyes, it's colder than average up here now, & I'll be damned if I'm going to mince around in a fucking dress because some uptight old white men believe I should. I have on jeans, an Umbrella t shirt & a gray CK hoodie, & I most certainly do not look like a guy. I am not jealous of women in dresses, though I suspect you are. When it comes to clothes, we most certainly can have it both ways. I challenge you to find another man who claims that women no longer look female because they're wearing jeans, & your samples can't come from fundie groups, since they & you are the outliers. Ask the average guy on the street what he thinks of women in pants. I promise you that you will not get the answers you want.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
