You who don't believe in God be ready to battle in the last battle of the Earth...Armageddon!?
In the last few years the world has gone from one Earth-shaking crisis to another. While some say that we are on the threshold of a Brave New World Order, others warn that humanity now totters on the brink of unprecedented disaster & chaos!
Reading the news nowadays is not the most cheerful way to start the day! Day by day the world's problems grow more desperate & insurmountable. The question which plagues every thinking person is...What lies ahead?
History has proven the extraordinary unerring accuracy of Bible prophecy. Therefore there can be no doubt that its hundreds of prophecies about the last days of our planet Earth will also be fulfilled just as surely as the ones that have already been fulfilled in the past. The only question is when? Sometime in the far future that we don't need to worry about now? Or are we in fact now standing on the threshold of these final great & climactic events of which all the Bible prophets, including Jesus, spoke?

And here's where I started to recover the slighest bit of hope for her...
"History has proven the extraordinary unerring accuracy of Bible prophecy."
And then I lost all of it.
what prophecies have been fulfilled? I wonder if he can give an example of any, as for the world going down the shitter... thats exactly what you're going to think if you only read biased newspapers and don't look out of your own window to see the absence of murdering rapist terrorists rampaging everywhere
Yeah. And shit happens EVERY FUCKING DAY, yet no rapture.
And when the day of doom comes, I doubt it'll happen the way you guys say it will, and I doubt believing in a God matters in survival.

Really...the only prophecies that I've heard the Bible get correct are either obvious and inevitable observations (e.g., it will rain on a Tuesday), vague prophecy that could be interpretted to be anything (e.g. the white lion will pounce into the heavens, and verily will he descend in a waterfall of ash), or prophecies that supposedly Jesus fulfilled (or at least the Biblical accounts we are given of Jesus's life and works suggests that he has fulfilled).
Unerring accuracy, my foot!
Right, well I'm going to keep living life to the fullest and building computers and stuff, so, uh.... Have fun with that whole prophecy thing.
"You who don't believe in God be ready to battle in the last battle of the Earth...Armageddon!?"
I'm ready, bring 'em on! Who's it gonna be, zombies? Demons? What the hell, make it both, i've been training my whole life!
(Playing Resident Evil and Doom counts as training, right?)

Yeah. Blah, blah blah. People have been whining about this for 2,500 years.
History has proven the extraordinary unerring accuracy of Bible prophecy.
Yeah, like when it said back in the first century AD that Christ would "return in our lifetime".

Yes! They do! Unite, my brothers, bonded by the power of the murder simulators! Unite, and shatter the Armies of armageddon~!
2000 years ago, Jesus said he'd be right back. I think you've been stood up.
Time to take the prom dress off, you're starting to look crazy.
Yes, these are dire times
and so were 50 years ago
and so were 50 years before that
and 50 years before 50 years before that
in fact, look through history, you so blindly state shows, and you'll notice every generation since 'Christ' has thought itsself the last...
Though for extra bonus points, isn't it religion that's doing most of the fucking up to make others think their time is the end time?
Why does it matter whether these prophesies come true now or later? For xtians, they're either saved, or not. Who cares about the apocalypse, tribulation, or whatever, they're either saved or they're not. Personally, when I die, I'm going to Allah's paradise and fuck me some virgins. (Is 72 really enough? I mean, shouldn't there be an infinite supply of virgins, given that I'm going to be fucking them for eternity? Or will they be "revirginized" each night?)
Fundamentalidiots!

So in other words, you got enough schooling that you can make a properly constructed sentence with multisyllabic words, but you still are so fucking dumb you will always require society to babysit you.
Has anybody noticed how, when you look at historical annals, virtually every culture in the world thought major conflict was in fact the end of the world? (the exception is the Mayans, who thought that the end of the world was around 4,000 years from now). In the Middle Ages for example, people thought that Islamic invasions into Christendom were the beginnings of Armageddon.
"History has proven the extraordinary unerring accuracy of Bible prophecy."
Please define 'history', 'prove', 'unerring' or 'accuracy', and 'prophecy' ... otherwise, [citation needed].

Fundies have been saying this since 1843. We're still here.
You know I bet that this very same quote was said by some genius like yourself in the first century AD, the 11th century AD, during the great plague, during WWI, WWII, and the great depression. And it was just as stupid then as now. Jesus said "NO ONE KNOWS, NOT EVEN THE ANGELS"!!! Obviously you didn't read enough of his prophecies.
2000 years ago Jesus...what? Tell me! Now I'll never know!
Oh, wait. Some fundie will probably come along and tell me pretty soon. Whew. I can always count on you guys.
Armageddon(!?) is even less likely as the bible story than the events of the movie. There aren't any prophecies in teh bible that are both specific and factual. Beyond that, who stole all the history books from teh fundies!? While there's certainly a lot of violence and turmoil all over the world, it's certainly nothing new, and considering more destructive weaponry available in today's society it's actually subsided quite a lot.
Reading the news nowadays is not the most cheerful way to start the day!
Bad shit has always happened, our ability to hear about it is all that's changed. The reason things seem to be getting worse is that most news outlets are controlled by fundie nutjobs, pandering to an audience that gets off on bad things happening to other people.
"Another Earthquake in a heathen land? PRAISE THE LAWD, THE END TIMES ARE HERE!"
"Unerring accuracy." Like the past 2000 years when people have been convinced that the End Is Near and it hasn't happened yet? The Plague, the various World Wars, Chernobyl, it was all supposed to be The End Times, and it ain't happened yet. Relax, tinhats, you're fine.
Reading the news is getting boring. They look for the bad instead of the good, to make it more exciting. The news seldom reports that world-wide average life expectancy is increasing, hunger is reducing, individual wealth is increasing, diseases are being conquered, access to fresh water is increasing- but all these things are true.
The specifically fulfilled prophecies of the bible include 'A young woman will concieve and give birth' (unbelievable precision of forecasting, how DID they do it?) Also Jesus's prophecy "this generation will not all pass away before I return"- oh wait.
Her username is "Josephsgrl4evur"?
She is going to be SO disappointed when Joseph dumps her.
She'll have to get her username changed, probably have to get that tatoo removed....
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
