This is going to sound strange, but what he said is true. I believe it was in Time awhile ago, but an underground scene was all about this. The people interviewed likened it to getting pregnant and getting rid of the stress from not wanting to catch it. It was pretty bizarre, but hey, every group has their fruitloops in it.
Ugh. I've only ever seen 1 article dealing with this topic. It was in Rolling Stone, it was a good article. However this mouth breather has decided to take what is an extremely small minority among gays, and spin it so that all gays are AIDS wanting freaks. Moron
I don't read him applying this behavior to all gays. I have no doubt he would if asked, but the quote is in no way saying that all gay men want to give/recieve AIDS. And, as has been said here, it does happen.
Now why is it that I'm a gay man, and I've been out for 37 years (I'm 52), and I've never once had any desire to become HIV-positive? lie .

DesertFox's statement is factual. Please do google search on "Bug Parties," "Bug Catchers," and homosexual "Gift Givers." In fact, if you go to About.com's gay lifestyle section and pull up their glossary of gay terms, you can find all three of the above terms listed alongside more mainstream terms. When I found out about the "Bug Party" scene, I became very concerned, because these people are actively seeking to spread a deadly virus.
And there are heterosexuals who feel it's erotic to spread their own or their partners' feces all over themselves.
