Even women don't know what they want. So don't bother trying to figure it out. Women often say they want this or that, but when you give it to them, they discover they did not want that. You can never trust a woman when she tells you what she thinks she wants.
Part of the problem is that extremely harmful cultural and societal ideologies like feminism, confuse women and try to convince women to think they want something that they do not actually want, like power in a relationship, submissive men, overly "sensitive" men, so-called "equality" in a male-dominated workplace, or to be showered with meaningless gifts. Women don't really want these things, but feminism indoctrinates women from an early age telling them that they should want these things.
This in turn results in women pursuing things they do not really want because society has taught them that it is what they should want, and as a result it causes them to be unhappy once they get those things, and confused as to why they are so unhappy in life when they followed their feminist indoctrination like a good little sheep.

Men often say they want this or that too, but you never know how well you like something until you get it.
Feminism IS women, silly boy. It's women (and men) fighting for equal rights for men and women. You sound like it's something from outside, out of control of women.
We want EQUALITY, not power, silly. We want equal men, not submissive or overly sensitive men.
Who'd want to be showered with meaningless gifts? If you think your gifts are meaningless, that probably transmits to the women you're giving them to, and the women will feel meaningless too. Ever hear the saying "it's the thought that counts"?
We wanted and pursued the following things, and we still want them, and we're happy because we have them.
Adulthood
Right to vote
Right to keep working after marriage and childbirth
Rape being a crime against us, not against our "owners"
Reproductive rights
Illegality of rape in marriage
Eight hours working days
Five days working week
Parental leave, preferably paid
etc, etc, etc.
Nah, it's patriarchy that wants women to follow the indoctrination like good little sheep.
Well, according to surveys todays women are far less happy than previous generations. This explanation seems overly simplistic however. Seeing that feminists always harp on about how advertisments brainwash women into wanting "girl" products I see no reason why feminists themselves would have to excluded from criticism on those grounds. He's also overly confrontational.

Meet women against feminism:
http://womenagainstfeminism.tumblr.com/
Do you know why they post pictures of themselves? Because feminists accused them of just being men acting as women to dismiss their arguments. Feminists do not speak for 50% of earth's population.
>long list of things
The first four and number six having been won by a previous generation of feminists far more sensible than the present one. You might not want to rest so heavily on other people's laurels.
Okey-dokey, the next time I want to know what I want I'll be sure to ask you. Don't call me, I'll call you. Asshole.
@Ireyon: if you think "posting a picture of yourself" is really any form of identification in the digital age, then I have a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn. I remain unconvinced that it's all women that post there.
The fact that not all women identify with the term "feminism" is also pretty meaningless. If we took away from them such things as the vote and the right to own property or their own money, they would justifiably feel threatened. "Not a feminist" means "not a front line fighter", but they'd still like to have the things that OTHER WOMEN have fought for.
Why would feminist enforced gender roles be any worse then the gender roles you hope to enforce on women? Do you think every woman wants to be a housewife or a boring doormat? You don't speak for women any more than some 2010s-era tumblr feminist nutjob does.
I would think if sensitive, submissive, feminine men exist, then there would be plenty of women who would want those types of guys.
@Kanna
They're posting pictures of themselves holding their hand-written signs. Have you even looked at the link?
Please, continue erasing their experiences because it's convenient for you. They're used to it. It's why they're fed up with feminism in the first place.
Because there's no way to Photoshop a handwritten sign. Nope nope nope. People totally didn't do it to Ann Coulter.
My current theory is that some feminist woman stole his boyfriend. He did go on that long rant about the ebils of wimminz going to gay clubs...
>Because there's no way to Photoshop a handwritten sign. Nope nope nope. People totally didn't do it to Ann Coulter.
At least you implied an admission that you didn't look at the link. It's a first step in the right direction.
And they didn't photosphop a sign into her hands. Just erased what was written on it and badly painted over it. Since you are so sure about the ones in womenagainstfeminism being fake, perhaps find the originals? It would be quite a victory for you, thwarting them damn mens. On the other hand, that would take effort and research, so...
So we have your permission to say that all gay men care more about their public image than the rape of children because a few men in a gay club did it? Cool. Good to know.
I'm not giving you another link until you read the first one. If you did you would already have the answers to some of your questions. The OP specifically stated that they weren't trying to conflate pedophilia and homosexuality but rather point out the specious nature of your arguments.
Rape culture would be the thing where people tried to blame the victim, the rapist's girlfriend, the victim's mother, and just about anyone else except for the poor young lad who shouldn't have his life ruined over youthful indiscretion. Also, saying that one particularly egregious act of rape being punished means there's no rape culture is like saying you ate breakfast today so no one is starving in Sudan.
Confused?
