Maybe because only women can bear children, not men, because of Eve's curse of childbirth, which was given to her when she ate from the Tree of Knowledge, which was placed there by God for no apparent reason other than to experiment with his newfound creations. Yeah, I totally see why we should be flattered that God values us as baby machines and nothing else.

It's nice that God notices that women exist. After all, he decided to dump his Holy Load into one particular woman - by the name of Mary - so that she could give birth to his son (who is actually himself), who'd then be nailed to a tree in later life.
