To my knowledge, a member of the Angel-tai (representing the Transbaal Empire) has never been to Mars.

The roving probes Sojourner, and Spirit & Opportunity proves Lewis W wrong for a start. Who knows? China may even be co-opted into a joint project, along with the ESA, JAXA etc, as well as Russia's Roscosmos & USA's NASA, for a manned mission to Mars, mayhaps using the ISS as a starting point; and of course, China has ambitions for a landing on the Moon in the near future.
It all adds to the fact that, since 1957 with Sputnik 1, science has effectively destroyed Genesis in the Bible cosmologically (the notion that there's a solid 'dome' - the 'Firmament' - above a flat Earth with four corners, supported on pillars)
The Creationists must have metaphorical arms like Atlas's by now, what with all the goalpost-moving they've had to do.
