The number isn't as high as the number of people killed from aids. If Hitler had succeeded it would have prevented aids! Because of homosexual activity many innocent straight people have died. Strength lies not in defence but in attack.

If Hitler had succeeded.....
First, patient 0 has been identified as a Canadian flight attendent. For Hitler to have "succeeded" (presumably in a world wide extermination of gays), he would have had to conquer and subdue the US and Canada. I have been privledged in my life time to know and cherish a large number of people who might disagree with skynett, starting with: My father - USNR - convey duty to Britian and the Med - catch the movie Action in the North Atlantic on Turner classics. When I was a kid, Dad and I watched it together because "this is what I did." My father-in-law - 1st Division - Africa, Sicily, 2nd wave Omaho Beach, captured outside of St. Lo and held as a POW until the end of the war. We spent about 25 years fishing together before he passed. Of course, some of my family were a little busy in the Pacific: Uncle Joe (Dad's brother) US Marines, wounded at Tarawa and carried a bullet in his lungs for the rest of his life Uncle John (Mom's bother) US Army - engineers - Phillipine campaign. We still have the seashells he sent back to my mother. He refused to discuss anything that he saw or did. From the History Channel, I learned that the Japanese murdered thousands of civilians as they retreated and that the fighing in Manila was house-by-house. Add to the list, my Mon and my mother-in-law (among millions of women) who worked in war plants and my Mom's cousin who served as a Navy nurse. I can easliy list 2 dozen more, some living, some passed on but remembered. All had a profound and positive influence on my life. I depise little snots like skynett who have no idea what people did to keep Hitler from succeeding. They were rightly called the "Greatest Generation."

AIDS seems to have gotten into humans from the eating of bushmeat in Africa, whereupon it was spread primarily by straight sex; it is mainly in the U.S. that it happened to be concentrated in the gay population (and male gays at that -- in the U.S., lesbians are the group LEAST likely to have it!).
I don't know of Hitler doing anything, or planning to do anything, that would have prevented the Africans' penchant for bushmeat, so he wouldn't have stopped or prevented AIDS. And since gay people are often born to straight parents, even if Hitler HAD killed all gays on Earth at the time, we would have gotten a couple more generations of them by now anyway. So this poster is about as wrong as he can get, even on just the practical level, let alone the moral one. ~David D.G.
