There is desperation in Obama’s words.

If Trump were losing, Obama would make the point that Trump is the Republican Party, that he represents the Republican Party, in order to paint the Republican Party as dangerous losers going forward. Instead, obama is arguing that republicans should denounce Trump and that Trump doesn’t represent the Republican Party. In other words, Obama fears that if the Republican Party embraces Trump’s ideas, the democrats have a lot of losing ahead of them in the years to come.

If you’re opponent is a train wreck, you watch and laugh. You don’t try to change their behavior or go out of your way to change an outcome (I.e your opponent losing, and you winning).

The media and the democrats are panicked.

As Clinton is winning, the point is going over Fart's head that, by going over their heads, the Repubicans hate his guts.

Otherwise, why have some members of that party said they'll be supporting Clinton?

Obama doesn't need to argue anything.

The Repubicans are arguing that Fart doesn't represent them.

His opponent is watching and laughing at the train wreck. Why should she try to change his behaviour, when it will result in the only possible outcome.

The Conservative Treehouse and FartIsIll(IQ)2.016 are panicking.

Seems we're watching the final spirals of the Perpetual Crazy Train that is the right-wing in the US. Perhaps - in a reverse-"Edge of Tomorrow" - the Tom Cruise Control that is Donald Fart will think that he'll finally destroy the 'Omega' that is Hillary Clinton. But before then, he has a fake tan transplant that eliminates the 'Reset Ability' that is his Teflon coating that kills his campaign stone dead before he can. >:D

'Vanilla ISIS' late last year-early this year was just a sign that the perpetual looped traincrash that is the right-wing will finally end. Certainly as Hillary Clinton is sworn in as President of the USA early next year.

Or, actually, you use the opening to strike hard before your opponent puts himself together and hits you while you are still laughing. The tensions within the Republican Party, between theocrats, plutocrats, nazis and the "normal" right-wing grow ever more obvious, and splitting off any of these radical factions would not only benefit the Democrats, but US politics as a whole; furthermore, Trump poses too great a risk should he become president that to rely on his own incompetence is irresponsible.
