I have been thinking about this lately. Maybe I am wrong, but I don't think WE can forgive a woman or an abortionist for taking the life of an innocent child. I think we can forgive them for wrongs they have done to us, but not for the wrong they did to the child and God. I think that only God (and the child in the afterlife) can forgive the post-abortive woman for the abortion she had, but I think we can point to Jesus as the source of that forgiveness.

Similarly, WE cannot forgive the abortionist for the thousands of innocent lives whose blood he or she has shed. Only God can do that. We can love him or her upon repentance, but we are not the one doing the forgiving, nor could we be. Does that make sense to you?
