Edit: ^^ Ah, seems you beat me to the burger joint comment by several seconds... damn you! ;)
Oh, I'm well aware of the vast amount of genetic information contained within 1.5% of an animal's DNA. This difference is what accounts for our flatter faces, hairless bodies, upright position, intelligence, differentiated hands and feet, etc. That same difference in DNA is also what accounts for a chimp not being able to build a Boeing, supercomputer and/or skyscraper, and being unable to hold a job in human society. It seems that your own two points contradict one another.
And while we on the topic of points, the point we're trying to make when discussing DNA is that the animal kingdom, when mapped out from the oldest known life on earth up to us, shows a steady increase in the amount of DNA an animal shares with us, leading all the way up to chimps and bonobos, who share more DNA with us than any other animal on the planet. Fossilized remains of extinct ancestors of our species show an even more similar DNA profile. If you're unable to grasp why that is strong evidence in favour of evolution, then I humbly submit that you are too fucking stupid to be involved in this kind of debate, and should just stick to something you're good at, like flipping burgers.
I would be able to tolerate stupid people if they weren't all so convinced that they're smarter than everyone else...
Edit: vv At least I beat you to it. :P
