"Nowhere is this more apparent than in silly proposals like Bertrand Russell’s Flying Teapot, in which he postulates that there might very well be a teapot orbiting the sun, but because it’s so far and so small, we cannot observe it, therefore there is no proof it’s not there. He equates this with a belief in the God of the Bible.
He cannot prove God doesn’t exist, we cannot prove He does. He, and millions of others like him, forget one very important little thing.
None of us has ever seen the wind: we can’t because it’s invisible air. We can, however, see the results of its action, feel it on our skin and know without a doubt that it’s there. Just as we can see the results of the life of Christ on the world.
I believe it is wilful ignorance and is written to trap the unwary. I believe it is just one of Satan’s many ploys."
