Today the Roman Catholic Church celebrates our Guardian Angels
Many people today, including Christians, are very sceptical about the existence of Guardian Angels, but the bible advises that we should listen to their voice. They are here to help us, but we tend to ignore them, and in doing so may well be under the influence of a demon spirit instead. (I feel that CS Lewis had a profound insight to the truth with his "Screwtape Letters")
When I meet up with my Guardian Angel in heaven, I will be giving a great big hug for a job well done!

Even most demonologists, Satanists and infernalists would tell you it doesn't work like that. In fact, the only people who think it does work like that are fundie Christians.
"sigh"
Most 'guardian angels' are probably benevolent human ghosts who've retained enough sanity and awareness to try to lend a helping hand which can cost them dearly. Physical manfiestation is damned difficult for them, and even small acts burn a lot of energy.
Also demons, meh. Not half as scary as fae.
I believe in Guardian Angels myself, but that's because I'm a Catholic, and I am very sure that Guardian Angels exist and they protect me.
However, that is just my belief, and people can choose to believe or not. I don't care anyway.
So, what do you think of me?

We'll disagree on the specifics, but you're fine. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if their were some sort spiritual entities who made it their business to watch over humanity. I've yet to see evidence of it, but it's not out of the realm of possibility for me.
I get it. You're not content with one imaginary friend, and you need legions of them as well as imaginary enemies. It's hard for any thinking person to swallow a tall story, and the more you exaggerate it, the more outlandish it becomes, and the more people will say "You've got to be kidding!"
I know I am, it`s called marriage :P
But seriously, I know it`s basicaly harmless superstition but its the opening gate for the belief in all kinds of little house and the field spirits(and I`m not talking about jack daniels, jim beam nor johny walker here), silly at the least.
EDIT: "Luv" my keyboard, last time I bought one for an equivalent of 5 bucks...

How do you know that yours will be Curtis Sliwa? He's still alive, you know.
...but he is Catholic too.
I'd shake him by he hand for a job well done: for Keeping It Safe.

I find this rather sweet and a touch innocent. It actually made me smile, so I'm reining the inner sociopath for this one.
This is..well, kinda nice, actually. It's nice to have a harmless-sounding post from someone for once.
@ E-Catholic: I think E-Catholic is pretty cool guy. eh kills aleins and doesn't afraid of anything.
Under the influence? Sounds more descriptive of alcohol intoxication. For once I am glad to see a relatively tame post on here, though I would prefer there be no accusations of demonic influence (even exorcists take great precautions to avoid misdiagnosis, if that can be a proper term for it).
I'm going to give Alan a kitten to be going on with

@E-Catholic - can't speak for everyone but I think we appreciate honesty. I would posit that it's hypocrisy and arrogance that get's our goat.

Guardian angels are about as real as demons which want to hurt us. Stop agreeing with me, I meant that they're both mythical!
How would you feel if you were guardian angel assigned to protect a really stupid redneck? It's like you'd never get any rest and have to respond every time you heard "Hey y'all, watch this!"
Actually, according to Catholic doctrine, since it's not dogma, you don't have any obligation to believe in them. Sorry
Confused?
