Homosexuality is nothing new. It was not at all unusual in ancient Greece, for instance.

An interesting euphemism ... I can only assume he's referring to oral. In any case, this is surprisingly enlightened thinking for a fundie. For that reason alone, I can't give this a 5 (and even a 4 is hard to justify).

If you think gays getting married somehow diminishes your marriage, yours probably already has some serious problems (or you don't have one and you're just foaming at the mouth for no apparent reason).
ITS AGAINST THE LAW OF GOD
First Amendment. If the best justification you can come up with is some 2000-year-old book, it's not a law that any secular nation should pass.

I don't think he did. I think those places were myths. (And in any case, the story is as easily interpreted as their destruction coming from raping the angels who were sent to them.)
Between the username, the capslock, and the excruciating grammar abuse, I am strongly tempted to consider this one a troll post; the only way it could be any better at conveying the mindset would be for it to be in crayon, and it nearly manages to convey that sense as it is! It's just almost too perfect an example of raving fundyism to take as serious.really hope so. If it IS genuine, it is extremely depressing.

Every time I look at the Sodom and Gomorrah story, I have a hard time figuring out why the fundies think that it is a lesson about homosexuality. As far as I can tell, the biblical shit hits the fan when the villagers demand that Lot send a couple of visiting angels out into the crowd so that they can gangrape them. Seems to me there's a big difference between consensual homosexual sex and rape by mob.
From his use of all caps and no punctuation, it appears that screw loose is typing one-handed. But why is the other hand occupied while he's typing about "smoking another guy's pole"? Hmmm. Dark in that closet, eh?

You know, I agree when most fundies say that it would be better if more people read the Bible. I think the people who should start reading the Bible first are fundies.
Because Sodom and Gomorrah was impolite to God's angels. Next question.

actually, I think Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed more for the fact that they were murdering and raping people and children, and less for the fact that they were gay. which, actually, they weren't.
