Why not? Is not a level playing field much better? Or do you believe that one side should always dominate, and the other should just shut up and conform?

Ah, so THIS is why "We're better than the terrorists, so we shouldn't be going around blowing up civilians" makes no sense to fundies. I guess to defeat the terrorists, we have to "dominate" them and be even bigger terrorists than they are.

He was pointing out an atheist forum that bans people for proselytizing or otherwise threatening damnation, using it as his justification to ban anyone for disagreeing with him.
We've all heard the sermons, how about some discussion about facts and why you say the things you say for a change? Atheists already know that you think they are evil, the discussion is, 'What gives you authority over someone else, especially when you are proven wrong?'
Well, it seems the concept of "character" is completely lost on ikester, as in not responding to bullying by becoming a bully. But then, fundies live by the rule that might makes right.

We live in a global world right now and it's only getting smaller. The only way we will survive without war and blood shed is tolerence. For everybody, no matter religion, color, culture. Unfortudnatly the religious right is believing that jesus is comming back. So they have correpted Jesus's worlds of love and turned them to hate against everybody else.
