what he did for the Germany economy
Oh, sure, he was able to pull Germany out of its Great Depression-era slump in the short term. By the time the Second World War started, cracks were already showing, and by 1945 the German economy was in ruins and even those who'd initially supported the Nazis were realising what an awful mistake they'd made.
He printed his own money and gave it away as interest free loans,
Nobody with even a basic understanding of economics would think this was a good idea.
had almost a 0% unemployment rate with his rebuilding of roads, bridges, and dams,
Also because all the non-Aryans and women were kicked out of the workforce and casually removed from employment counts. Oh, and if you remained unemployed too long you ended up in a concentration camp for being "work-shy", which also removed you from counts of the employment level. Not to mention how large portions of the working class were conscripted into whatever job the state assigned them. In short, Hitler maintained a 0% employment rate by exploiting his workforce and unpersoning the unemployed.
made several scientific progressions
But not nearly so many as those made by Jewish scientists who had fled Nazi-occupied lands.
He also created a welfare system where no German would starve or freeze by producing not for profit but only growing and raising what the country needed to survive.
But only straight Aryan men were allowed to benefit from this. Everyone else could go get fucked, they weren't even citizens anymore.
Also, he instilled family values by giving poor families marriage loans and allowing all married couples to keep 250 marks of their loan for every child born.
Hitler encouraged child-rearing so much because he wanted to ensure the "thousand-year reich" would have enough soldiers to keep conquering the world in future generations.
He created a union that made sure every worker was treated fair and had above par work conditions.
Complete bullshit. Sure, workers were convinced they had it good via an elaborate "bread and circuses" system, but working conditions in Nazi Germany were exploitative as fuck and there were no concepts such as minimum wage or sick leave. Not to mention how any union that wasn't run by the Nazis was banned...
It's ok to question his methods but if you were a German citizen at the the end of WWI how could you not love him.
This is the same trick every successful demagogue pulls - in the middle of a difficult time, they claim to have the power to magically solve all the people's problems, safe in the knowledge that the gullible will fall for it. It's Trump's mastery of this technique that gets him compared to Hitler so often, far more so than his racist tendencies or the swastika-wielders in his fanbase.
