I am really quite shocked at your NEED for empirical evidence when you give a great oration on the great intelligence mankind has. If you study the empirical evidence of anything you will find that it really leads to more questions for answers we do not know. For instance, the super conductor collider and particle beam accelerator to discover the "God" particle and help figure out how other dimensions of reality affect ours.

The rational evidence for an Infinite-Personal-Creator is plenty. The Christian faith is the most "VALIDATED" faith with it's rich history and archeological evidence and correspondence with nature. So when it comes to faith validation is important to rational thinkers since one should choose the most validated faith to believe as "most likely to be true" any other faith system would be founded on blind optimism.

Jesus did promise to return to give you all the empirical evidence you could ever want. It's only a matter of time.

The Christian faith is NOT the most validated faith. Far from it, in fact. Islam, Baha'i, Seikism, Paganism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and practically every other religion has tons more validation than christianity. The christian's 'history' is so full of crimes against humanity that I'm really surprised that you said this. And it's not only the catholics and their crusades and inquisitions. The protestants have a history full of hate, murder, genocide, and deceit as well. Martin Luther and John Calvin were fond of their respect with heads of state, and oftentimes used this connection as a means to put their enemies to death. The Puritans done the same thing with the Native Americans. And let's not forget that Northern Ireland catholics and British protestants went at it for over a decade. Archaeological evidence? Don't make me laugh. There's almost NO archaeological evidence to back up the historical claims of christianity. And even if there were, it still wouldn't make your bible any more proof of the existence of god than a history book. Correspondence with nature. I'm glad you mentioned this last, because it's the worst one. Christians are so against environmentalism that I'd be surprised if anyone took this seriously. Christians are the ones most wanting to destroy this planet, and damn to those who want to save it. Overall, this post is laughable at best, and I didn't even go over the first paragraph, or the last sententence. There was enough in the one sentence that I commented on to show that if this is the "proof" for christianity, it won't be long before there is no more christianity. No intelligent person could or would accept this insane system of hate and cruelty.

Considering that your version of evidence amounts to "God said it; I believe it; that settles it.", the above declaration somehow fails to surprise me. *smirk*

So, your strong finish amounts to "any day now, I'll be right, and you'll be sorry"? Sorry, chump, but your own Bible states that Jesus' return would happen during the lifetime of some of those who were alive at the time of his death. Since that didn't happen, I'd say he broke the hell out of that promise. Your empty threats do not even impress, let alone scare me. Try again when your pubes grow in, okay?

Bollocks. For something to be 'validated', it has to be PROVED empirically. And the only way to validate the existence of your so-called 'God' is for him to actually SHOW himself, in physical form. Then & only then will we accept the existence of such. No fundie has been able to prove 'God' empirically to date - and they never will. Because 'God' doesn't exist, and never will (thus the insane concept of 'Faith').

At least scientists will soon be able to discover the Higgs-Boson (or 'God') particle, and combined with Hawking's equations, will know what happened before Planck Time & thus explain how the Big Bang happened, and how the universe formed. Therefore science will know the origin of EVERYTHING. And for 'God', currently hanging on by his fingernails from the edge of human importance, this will be the final push that'll plunge him into the abyss of irrelevance, along with all the other mythical deities of ancient times.

This is why I call the LHC the 'God Killer'.
