Men throw themselves on gernades to save their fellow soldiers in war. This isn't martyrdom either. It is dying for a cause.

I don't see any fundie here, but I do detect one major characteristic of fundyism - staggering stupidity.
What does this clown think martyrdom means??
How is one dead soldier different from another dead soldier?
Wouldn't it be better to solve differences, or agree to disagree, in a diplomatic setting, instead of killing each other?
“Men throw themselves on gernades to save their fellow soldiers in war.”
A week before i reported to Instructor School in Norfolk, a sailor was failing his Electronics course in Great Lakes, so he went into school with a gun and shot up his class.
The day we started IT school, one of the instructors threw a training prop, a blank grenade, down the center aisle of the class room.
Most of the sailors stared at it
I was the only bubblehead. I threw myself to the floor and started crawling towards the exit.
There were three Marines in that class, in the front row. The Corporal saw the grenade, got up and turned towards the window.
Before he could jump, the Gunny grabbed him and threw him on the grenade. Before HE could jump, the LT grabbed Gunny and threw him onto the Corporal, then dove behind the instructor’s podium.
Nothing happened. LT got up and said, “Marines are trained to protect their superiors.”
I walked back to my desk, everyone telling me I overreacted. I relayed the story of the shooting. “And if i was wrong, i got dusty. If you were wrong, you got dead, and i got dusty.” Kind of a no-brainer.
“This isn't martyrdom either. It is dying for a cause.”
You JUST said he didn’t die for a cause, he died for his fellow soldiers. Pick a lane.
And, please, look up the definition of martydom.
Confused?
