To me, it’s ironic that when Bill Nye had a video segment in his program praising the technological advancement of the MRI, he was actually praising the work of a creation scientist, and unwittingly praising our Creator God!

So you can't praise a person's successes without automatically praising everything else they do or say? Every time I think Hambone can't get any dumber he goes and finds a sharper razor with which to shave a few more points off his IQ. At least I don't ever have to worry about accidentally praising Yahweh via the twit; I could pencil the entirety of his accomplishments into a single square on a calendar. Pretty much ends at "learned to wipe own ass". Though that might not even count since he probably credits god with catching any he misses on his first swipe.

... we might want to hire someone to wipe down and disinfect any chair Hambone sits in.

I accept that there are scientists that are theists; Ken Miller comes to mind as one of the most well-educated and well-spoken ones. What Dr. Miller does, however, is to check his religion and his beliefs at the lab door. He does not proceed from the presupposition that the answer to everything yet unknown is "goddidit"; he does not actively seek to inject his specific religious beliefs into everything he studies. Unlike Ken Ham, Dr. Miller does not start with a religious-based conclusion and reject any and all evidence that does not conform to his predetermined conclusion. Scientific advances do not come from the pages of the bible. Never in the course of human history has there been a scientific explanation for something, however inadequate, that has been replaced with a religious one. Once we applied secular science to lightning and determined it had an easily understood explanation, rational people no longer accept that its origin is Zeus on Mt. Olympus.

Bill Nye and Dawkins and the rest can look at accomplishments and their values unto themselves, the mans entire life need not be packaged with their expertise in one arena especially when those factors have nothing to do with the accomplishment. I'm pretty sure that God's not on the final blueprints but others may be credited with assisting.

You for example are an overpaid joke but you might be a great dad/granddad. You should be. Talking shit for a few hours a day doesn't take much away from family life and it's not like it wears you out as your shit requires little research and it's mostly the same shit you've been spouting the last decade.

If you don't watch it you might spend the next decade trying (and probably failing) to get one valid point on Bill Nye.
