Atheism = fertile ground for twisted morality.

Who has twisted morality?
Incorrect. It is fertile ground for any system of morality that you wish to adhere to, including twisted ones, this much is true. But particularly perverse moral codes are often simply unsuccessful. They rely too much on the worst kinds of selfishness without realizing that a certain degree of helping others is necessary in order to expect a certain degree of helpfulness from them (a selfish reiteration of the Golden Rule). In order to get justification for particularly twisted moralities, you need some sort of support that cannot be offered by the laissez faire attitude that atheism itself must have in regards to moral codes. In other words, horrible morality is ultimately self-destructive and cannot be supported by atheism as atheism itself has too few beliefs inherent in it to justify any position.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, religion is a prime example of a way to prop up the most twisted moralities. For example, you can use Christianity to support: slavery, subjugation of women, decriminalization of rape, anti-Semitism, death penalties for petty crime, excessive child punishment, and (of course) war. Oh, and to say nothing of the idiotic "morality" of forbidding sex before marriage, working on the Sabbath, homosexuality, jealousy, and disobeying parents regardless of situation .
So, seriously, Matthew 7:3.
And yet the most twisted moral systems I've come across is religious in nature. Go figure.
Edit: Oh wow, I've already commented on this before, with much more RAAAAGE. Oh well.
Right now, Xian morality involves championing a serial adulterer, a lying, bigoted draft dodger who has admitted stealing from child and veteran charities, in order to ensure any pregnancy is carried to term, even if it risks the woman’s life, even if there’s no money for her or the resulting baby’s healthcare, education, or even food.
…in the name of a skyguy.
‘Scuse me if i find this claim shallow, sel-important, and error-filled.
