If this man is the strong Catholic he claims to be, then he would not offer the shelter of his hotels to same-sex couples and provide an environment in which to accomplish their evil. Therefore, the threatened boycott of these establishments by those with same-sex attractions is very much an empty threat. I, for one, say that such individuals are welcome to move their acts of lewd depravity to the gutter where they belong.

So, Christians complain of the hordes of gays that apparently fornicate in public, in broad daylight in front of their innocent children, and yet this gentleman proposes that they should not be allowed to do so in private, but that doing it in the "gutter" is fine and dandy!

But don't you always claim that the dirtycommieatheisthomosexuals are having "teh buttsecks" in the streets in front of the children? So moving them to the gutter would be doing just that, rather then in the privacy of a hotel room.

It's quite possible he allows gay people to stay at his hotel because it can sometimes be quite difficult to distinguish someone's sexuality without blatantly asking, in which case they could lie, or perhaps because it's quite illegal.

Homosexual couples and singles spend enormous sums of money going on fabulous vacations. If we are not wanted in one hotel we'll just take our (often larger than average) disposable income to another hotel. Problem solved. We get to choose our accomodations and Mr. Manchester and his ilk get to choose to lose money.
