Think about the concept of a "rescue". What are we rescuing them from? Not nature, but human society. If we didn't destroy their natural habitats and force them to adapt to an unnatural environment in the first place, there'd be no need to domesticate them for their own good. Of course, a lone puppy can't survive in the wild, it needs it's parents/pack to raise it. I don't have anything against domesticating animals for their own good. In fact, my whole point has been that this dolphin is no more or less happy than a dog living with humans.?
