I have a question about spiritual warfare.
Basically it is about praying so that atheists do not get their way.
But atheists, by definition, do not pray.
Therefore I have but a few theories.
A. Christians pray, atheists don't, prayers work, christians win all the time.
A does not fit with the facts.
B. Since christians pray, atheists do not, and sometimes christians lose, there are a few possibilities
B.1: prayers are useless
B.2: prayers serve to countermand the influence of Satan.
In the case of B.2, it can be argued that the God Christians pray to is less powerful than Satan, because unlike Satan, god needs prayer to have an effect.
Therefore, spiritual warfare against atheists leads to two potential conclusions : either the prayers are useless, and therefore the whole concept of spiritual warfare is useless, or Satan is more powerful than God.
