... Your entire counter-argument is "nuh-uh" without qualification. But within the bible are extensive passages about the taking of slaves, laws governing their treatment, and long parables about how women are the source of sin and should never be trusted especially not if they're crying. Also multiple conflicting accounts of the last days of Jesus Christ. Did Judas commit suicide or die in a freak gut-splosion after tripping?
As much as I appreciate the transcription of this, there were a lot of mistakes. Including "athiest" instead of atheist. Common, it's really not hard, it's the same as in elitist, anarchist, etc. The I comes last.
Paul explicitly told slaves to quit whining and get back to work. And if their master was a believer, they better be happy about it. And in the United States, Bible believers interpreted American slavery as sanctioned by scripture while the same denominations that are fine with the gays today opposed slavery because Jesus felt nice.
Sometimes atheist do say the same things, because the truth bears repeating.
Every comment from the Ford's CM, denial of reality.
You know, just saying, "No it isn't" is not a convincing argument. You're starting to sound like the Monty Python argument sketch.

Yes you are.
Adam Ford can't explain why he thinks the Bible isn't what the Athiest says it is because....DEBATING AND EXPLAINING IS HAAARRRRDDD!!!
REEDIT: I'm considering ChristoPaganism. That faith needs to be reclaimed by people who aren't hateful boogers. Jesus was cool and Christianity to me is Universalist with a bunch of religious influences.
Well, I could buy that some people might believe that the bible is neutral on slavery; sort of a "we don't recommend it, but if you absolutely must do it, then do it this way" type of thing. That's probably a rather poor reading of it, but there's that.
I could also buy that some people might believe the bible is not anti-woman, because they have a really messed-up idea of "pro-woman". Which they probably got from reading the bible.
The bible not being full of contradictions is just plain wrong, but there are people who are willfully blind, of course.
Confused?
