As an atheist parent to two young boys, if someone -- anyone -- should lay a finger on my boys, I'd be hard-pressed not to do something that's effectively an exercise of my constitutional right to keep and bear arms under the second amendment....

I'm not a parent-but if I was & something vile like that was ever done to my kid & I catch you-I'll fucking kill you, plain & simple. Something else that strikes me as quite hilarious-just as I was opening up this page, a pair of Jehovah's Witnesses rang the bell. I'm housesitting for my parents today & I wound up getting sucked into one of "those" discussions on the front porch. In the smothering heat & humidity. With a pair of black Jehovah's Witnesses; who were actually very polite. Ultimately unsuccessful of course, but still, paradigms of graciousness.

Seriously; where does all the hate come from? What person can relish at the imagined sight of children being raped and then killed slowly? What have these children done to destroy the life of Anonymous to such an extent that it brings forth this much vitriol?
Atheists don't hate your god, Anonymous, any more than we hate any other god or goddess. We simply fail to see any evidence for the existence of any gods or goddesses. Until such evidence arises, we will live our lives as if we're responsible for our own lives, and that there is no higher being to bail us out if we fuck it up.
