Its all by God's design that Bush became President of the United States, and that we, as a Christian nation, use our mililary force to bring Christianity to the Middle East.

And I know why Bush can't win. God's powerless against iron chariots, just think about all the cars and tanks driving around trabsporting troops and shooting metal at stuff. It hinders his power imbuing the soldiers. Maybe we should send them in with sticks and simple bronze swords (bronze age tales ask for bronze weapons), I'm sure that victory will be for the taking then.
Oh wait, only if Bush can keep a staff raised over his head long enough. If he can't you'll still lose.
If Bush is president by god's design it demonstrates an amazing lack of design skills.Unless, of course, god is making some kind of point about morons in government. I might add that perhaps we'd should start looking for another way to introduce Christianity, because under the current scheme we're pretty much getting our ass handed to us.
Riiiiiiight, because all that fire and brimstone nuking cities like Sodom, or earthquakes swallowing up errant tribes whole just didn't cut it.
Your God's turned into a pussy!
He must've been whipped into shape since Mary got up there and he can't be a naughty little bachelor boy any more.
Klaus for the win!
Seeing as how this is a democracy, people choose who is going to be President. If God wants to take control he would have to take control of the voters temporaily, thus destroying the entire notion of free will.
So, it was also God's design that we had Bill Clinton as president for 8 years?
The reason we have GWB as president is because the masses in the U.S. are easily distracted from the facts, they love tough talk and many of them vote mostly for what they are told will most benefit their wallets.
It seems to me that God must hate both Christians and Muslims. And Jews, too, since Israel isn't what you would call secure. Hmm...think I'll stick with Buddhism, just to be safe.
The promotion of religious ideology by military force has never been successful in the entire history of the human race, what makes you think it would be successful now?
And, interestingly enough, no lasting democracy has ever been established by an outside force or nation. Every successful and lasting democracy has been established when the people themselves rose up and established it.
Neither faith nor democracy can be "given" or "forced" on another people, they have to take it for themselves. (As is evident by the fact that the US government delayed elections in Iraq until they could be fairly certain that an Islamic Theocracy like Iran's would not be voted into power...)
bush is president, because the majority of Americans don't vote and most are easily led, like sheep.
I would imagine that a god-sponsered war would go a little quicker then this one has.
RJchirstian, go jump off a bridge you mindless freak.

Er, no, it's by Karl Rove, Katharine Harris, the Supreme Court, and Diebold's design that Bush became President. Get with the program, Fundie.
God wouldn't inflict Bush on anybody, we're not a Christian nation (or else we wouldn't have fundies screaming about it), and the Middle East has already got enough Christianity, thanks, come back tomorrow.
jouster :
Some Mayans, Incas and Aztecs might disagree.
Maybe not, since most of them died before converting.
Then it must be all by God's design that Obama became President of the United States too, right? Or has God been sacked as designer by now?
If someone was using military force to bring Islam to the US, would you be eager to join in crying Allahu akbar, RJ? I doubt it, somehow. The Middle-Easterners are not going to be eager to be forced into Christianity either, stupid.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
