a nation founded by Christians
I do not find in orthodox Christianity one redeeming feature
There is more need for lighthouses in our country than churches
But it does me no injury for my neighbour to say there are twenty gods or no God. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg
Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear
I have examined all the known superstitions of the world, and I do not find in our particular superstition of Christianity one redeeming feature. They are all alike founded on fables and mythology
Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shone on man
-Thomas Jefferson
Religious bondage shackles and debilitates the mind and unfits it for every noble enterprise, every expanded prospect
In no instance have... the churches been guardians of the liberties of the people
-James Madison
Your call.
Christians are now social outcaste
While one part of the caste system on Minbar - the other two being Warrior & Worker - the Religious caste has equal status in that society: including their ruling body, the Grey Council. [/"Babylon 5"]
Those of the Religious Caste - including Delenn - greatly respect those from other worlds they refer to as 'True Seekers': including a veteran of the Earth-Minbari War who thought he was King Arthur & was searching for the Holy Grail. But in your case, they would just point & laugh.
Because part of the training for Religious Caste Minbari is studying for at least a year the nature of Humour: including that of Earth. And in your case, you make Christianity laughable due to your ignorance of your own country's history.
Education is extremely valuable to the Minbari; the Religious Caste are that race's teachers.

the Minbari have a belief that the universe itself is sentient, and that the universe has the ability to break itself into many pieces and invests itself in every form of life. Consequently, every being is a projection of a part of the universal soul. They believe that the universe uses the perspective of individual sentient beings in a process of self-examination and a search for meaning (similar to the real-life belief of pantheism or pandeism), this could also be a reference to the quote "We are a way for the universe to know itself" from astronomer Carl Sagan
As part of the Divine: the Great Sentience. Delenn, Lennier & co. would regard you as a True Seeker. b^_^d
