e. coli (which also has a flagellum) is about 1/4 the size of human sperm. If the rectum could absorb sperm, why wouldn't it absorb bacteria and give us massive e. coli infections? Also, sperm doesn't penetrate the egg. It does a kind of Vulcan mind-meld of its membrane with the egg's. This can only happen if the membrane chemistry is right.

It's common knowledge that sperm are broken down and absorbed by the body. A certain number of sperm are absorbed by men who don't have a vasectomy, anyway. Not all of it is ejaculated.

The sperm, which has as its only purpose the drive to bond with an egg, suddenly develops the GOAL to "drive straight for the immune system" (with what possible intelligence to guide it in such a thing?) and to "start attacking it" -- WITH WHAT?!? It's just a freakin' SPERM, for cryin' out loud! It's not like it has weaponry or something! And as someone else pointed out, even if sperm did somehow get so bizarrely and wildly off track as to find themselves "in the immune system" (which doesn't have a single specific location, by the way), that's where they would be most effectively destroyed by white blood cells as invading organisms.
Please, get some elementary and junior-high-level books on biology. You've got a lot of (un)learning to do.

I think that what Messianic Jew has confused two different concepts. One, the fact that semen is a good host for the HIV virus, which destroys the inmunological system. True. Provided that the semen is stored in a body. The fact that semen contains spermatozoids. True too, but virus and Spermatozoids are two different entities. A vasectomy isn't going to solve the problem because semen will be there anyway.

A sperm cell DOES burrow its way through the membrane of the oocyte (the ovum) in order to fertilize it. This process takes some time; there are films of it I've seen on the Discovery Channel. In fact, several sperm may be trying to burrow through the membrane at the same time. The first one that makes it through will trigger a nigh-instantaneous chemical change in the ovum's cell membrane that the other sperm can no longer burrow through.
However, the reason sperm don't burrow through the vagina wall is because it's made of epidermal tissue , i.e. skin cells. The sperm's little "drill bit" only works on an unfertilized ovum's cell membrane.
