Yes...because, not happy with claiming that Hell is a metaphysical place that no-one can disprove the existance of, you have to go and give it physical form /inside the earth/, so that you can definitely be proved wrong.
Ya know, ONE book in 2nd ed claimed this was the case. That all those with no deity, or who disbelieved them, would end up as food for Asmodeus.
The others, though, in most cases a lot less... "adventure" and a lot more actual rulebook or fluff/info? Plane closest to alignment if no gawd worshipped. That simple.

I agree. Reality is what it is independent of what you believe in. The bible is a collection of myths from a tribes of bronze age sheep herders, that's reality no matter how much you believe otherwise.

The source of this story has actually been found.
Two old guys were having an argument. One said there were some things so stupid that nobody would believe them. The other one said nothing is so stupid nobody will believe it. They made a bet. Old guy #1 thought of something so stupid he thought nobody would believe it. Old guy #2 wrote it down and sent it in to the local paper. The paper printed it, a fundie picked it up and told all his fundie friends, thus proving old guy #2 was right.
Yes, I always knew Hell was in Siberia. Where else would people as evil as Joseph Stalin punish people?
Oh, and now the Cold War makes sense. Heavely America keeping a close eye on the Hellish Soviet Union.
While I'm sure there are some higher and deeper parts, Siberia's plains are generally 2,000 - 4,000 feet above sea level. If digging 2,000 feet allowed us to hear voices from hell, how come we don't hear them on the shores of the Dead Sea, which are about a quarter of a mile below sea level?
One, the recording voices in Siberia is a hoax, which has been long debunked. Second, they don't believe in Hell, and nevertheless, you keep on that to witness. Let's suppose it exists. According to your standards, 90% of the humankind or even more is going there, what's the point?
Do you believe in Hell?, of course not. And for the record, when they have to go, who cares?. You should proselitise in a better way.
Geology of the Earth, read all about it. Whats below the crust is the upper mantle, the mantle, the inner core and the outer core. If you're saying somewhere down there is hell, I'll put you in there and see how long you live, m'kay?
I find it amusing that this person claims we've dug clear through to hell, when, to quote an analogy I've heard before a few times, if Earth was an egg, our deepest hole would not have even penetrated the shell. And I'm certain that if hell was that close to the surface, seismic surveys would have given some insight to a large, sudden void within the earth.
That recording was debunked ages ago. Get with the program.
And no, I don't believe in Hell, therefore threatening me with it will do you no good at all. If you want me to believe in your sky daddy, you need to provide evidence that he exists.
