Mrs. Antichrist
Uh, no. No. You're confusing "theory" with "hypothesis".
A theory is a body of ideas used to explain a natural event that can be considered true for all practical purposes, but cannot be definitively proven. EVERYTHING in science is theory, from the way gravity works to germs causing disease. In order for something to qualify as a theory, it must undergo rigorous scrutiny from the scientific community and meet several important requirements, which evolution does. In everyday use of the word, theory may be interchanged with hypothesis, but in science it has a very different meaning. Another example of a layman's use of a word differing from the scientific meaning is the word "organic". In everyday conversation, it's usually used when specifically referring to living creatures. In science, it refers to anything that is carbon-based, living or not. To call something a theory in science is a high compliment, and it automatically implies that all opposing ideas (such as creationism) are invalid.
In addition, "evolution, the theory" and "evolution, the fact" are also different things, same as it is with gravity and disease. Germs being present when one is ill is a fact. Objects with mass will fall towards the earth when unsupported -- fact. Animals adapting to their environment is also a fact. The theory involved in each example is the attempt to explain these facts in a naturalistic fashion. Gravity being a curve in space and having a particular constant = theory. Germs being the cause of illness = theory. Natural selection + genetic mutation = theory.
Cars don't reproduce, and they lack cells and DNA. Ergo, evolution cannot occur. If they were capable of reproduction and had self-replicating DNA, cars would, in fact, evolve. And for the record, if your entire argument relies on an analogy, chances are that you're completely wrong, dipshit.
Stop pretending you know anything about science and get back to flipping my burgers.
