"Well, Mel White considers himself a Christian, but his theological philosophy is most ecumenic. Besides, he focuses a lot on criticizing and protesting Christians, rather than on focusing on Jesus Christ."
"Considers himself a Christian"? Only he knows whether he's a Christian or not. And he protests Christians because who are the ones standing in the way of gay rights? Christians, for the most part.
"Anyway, I agree with some of the things they advocate, like employment non-discrimination, but they are being too loud."
Like Martin Luther King Jr, right?
"The Canadian law is not as bad as Swedish speech law. Under it, you can say things in private, like in church, but you can't really say stuff in public, which is deemed as "antigay.""
Well, I don't agree with laws restricting any free speech, but I doubt the laws are put in place to oppress Christians, probably to reduce hate crime against gay people, as hate speech often leads to violence.
"And what's wrong with the war in Iraq? Surely, Saddam should have been gone."
Your point was Christians don't support violence. Obviously, some do because they supported the Iraq War. the Iraq War still qualifies as "violence" whether you believe it was the right thing to do or not.
