No way. Some of those fairy tales are just as fucked up as your Bible. Have you read 'The Red Shoes' by Hans Christian Anderson? Long story short: Poor girl has no shoes, wants fancy red shoes. Gets shoes, puts them on. Shoes force her to dance to exhaustion until eventually, townspeople cut her feet off ! Then she dies, but it's okay cause she goes to 'heaven'. Gave me fucking nightmares. And it's not the only one.
Yeah, they think a giant invisible man poofed people out of dirt, then they talked to a snake and ate magic fruit . . . those evolutionists sure are dum, believing in fairy tales.

No, you see, an evolutionist would point out that fairies are usually depicted with insectoid wings (butterfly or dragonfly like), but otherwise have mammalian characteristics (hair, endoskeletons, opposable thumbs, etc.) hence could not be the product of evolution.
So if you ever do find a fairy at the bottom of your garden, you will have completely disproved evolution.
Bet you almost believe in fairies now, dontcha?
Like the one about the magical sky-daddy that will make everything all better and give me anything I want as long as I'm really really good, and really really believe?
Oh wait, that's your story.

really wrong.
and really missing the point of fairy tales in todays world. They're ancient stories, myths that some people believed in and some (mostly Christians who think those stories are actually in the Bible) still do but are in the end, all said and done, just as valid as anything in the Bible.
I believe in Jack in The Beanstalks entire story just as much as Noahs Ark. And why not? Once you walk that far through the looking glass your perception of reality is severely impaired.
What's an evolutionist? Someone who adheres to reality?
No, we might be entertained by fairy tales, but we don't believe in them. Which is why many of us are atheists; we don't believe in the Bible fairy tale, either.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
