Herod killing the infants IS in the bible, so you should believe it without needing photographs or signed edicts.
But ironically, it, in point of fact, did not happen. The argument from silence proves that.

Fundies generally know *some* of the bible. Yeah. Only some. And they think they know it all, and won't admit otherwise. Hence they get taken off guard regarding any part of the bible that doesn't mildly suggest "God Hates Fags!" As such, we shouldn't be surprised when a fundie isn't aware of the details of the Massacre of Innocents.
