I thought white people invented racism? I thought only white people could be racist? This is all very confusing.

Not sure if this is the same thing but I found a list from Insider Monkey of the 25 most racist countries in the world based upon two surveys, one of which is people who don't want neighbors of a different race. I find their criteria a bit questionable but, for what it's worth, here it is:

If you thought white people invented racism and that only white people could be racist, you're an idiot. However, in a predominantly white country, such as the UK or the US, the most prevalent form of racism is white supremacy. That's probably where you're getting confused.
It's like when fundamentalist Christians complain that atheists in the UK or US don't complain about Islam. That's because Christianity is the most prevalent religion in those countries.
I recently watched a video talking about talking points that push moderates away from leftism, and one of them was the idea that Racism is Power plus Privilege. That's INSTITUTIONAL racism. But individuals can be and are racist. I learned Swedes and Lithuanians are racist against each other. Actually a lot of white Europeans are racist against Slavs. Some hardline Anglo-Saxons are fundamentally racist against Celts (Most famously H.P. Lovecraft). I love my family, but some of thwm can be culturally racist in how they say things and refer to others, and we're Hispanic. Any race can be racist. The system has power plus privilege.

Same, here; To me, racism (or 'ethnicism' as I prefer to call it since race is imaginary and we really need a better term than 'race') is a type of bigotry, not a synonym of bigotry. "Power + Privilege" just sounds like an excuse for Left-leaning non-whites to have carte blanche to be bigots against whites.
It's akin to antisemitic White Supremacists conjuring up "Christian Identity" so they can still follow a Hebrew Deity and a Middle Eastern offshoot of Judaism founded by a Jewish man without their heads exploding from "Doesn't compute".
Or homophobic frums making up that "Levitical Law Category" thingy in response to the "Why Can't I Own A Canadian" argument.
