Stephen King is obviously a part of the New World Order [NWO] movement, incorporating occult and NWO symbols into his movies. This is all just my opinion as a Christian. I feel that King is a Luciferian worshipper—evidenced by his persistent attack against God, desecrating things that are holy and righteous, and combining science fiction with Biblical truth. To hear a little girl singing “Jesus Loves Me” while monsters are attacking in a horror movie is blasphemy!

In my sincere Christian opinion, King deliberately confuses horror movies with Biblical Christianity to desecrate, disrespect and discredit Christianity and the God of the Bible. It appears that King deliberately strikes sensitive areas within the public's heart. For people who have grown up in a Christian environment; having being taught goodness, morals and decency by the Bible and church; King's movies are highly offensive. I heard a professed “Christian” radio host speak of King as a mastermind, genius and legend. In Satan's world only! In God's eyes Stephen King is a wicked person, a loser and an enemy of God (James 4:4).

It's not his movies, numbskull, they are merely based on his books. King is probably a Deist of some sort, as he believes in a god. He attacks organized religion, silly; the man-made atrocities made in its name.

Again, King doesn't write movies, he writes books. The movie producers, directors and writers probably listen to what King says about the books, but then do what they want with the information.

King was brought up in a Methodist home. Perhaps he saw a lot of badness, immorals and indecency done in the name of the Bible and Church...

King IS a mastermind, a genius and a legend. As he survived the car-crash and the alcohol- and substance abuse, and as God helps him each day to not drink nor do drugs, King seems to be a good person in God's eyes, a winner and a friend of God.
King says he donates about 4 million dollar to charity per year. How much do you give to those in need, Kiddydiddler?

Dave, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that you've never read any of King's work, seen any of his films or interviews, or perused an article about his life.

Fortunately, I have.

The Stand: The apocalypse happens, culminating in the final blood-match between the christian god and the devil in Las Vegas. Your god wins.

Carrie: Not so much of an indictment of religion, but religious fanaticism. Carrie's mother was immersed in a world of fundamentalist religious mania. In the end it destroyed both her and her daughter. Side note: Carrie White was based on girls Stephen King went to school with, one of whom had a mother very much like Margaret White. As in, she kept a six foot tall crucifix - complete with weepy Jesus and his bleeding wounds - in the living room.

The christian lady in The Mist wasn't killed for being christian. She was killed because she was causing the other people in the store to become violent, and using her religion to justify it.

There are probably a hundred such examples. King was raised christian and because it was instilled in his psyche from a young age, it has become a major thematic element of his work.

Do some research before you condemn another one of your fellow humans, you supercilious fucking boob.

Seriously? You know, anyone who's read your diseased brain-drippings for longer than ten minutes understands how pigshit-ignorant you are, but it would be awesome if you could actually go LONGER than ten minutes without heeding the urge to remind everyone around you of that fact by pontificating about shit you know nothing whatsoever about. To paraphrase a certain comic, the next time a thought crawls through that festering vermin-infested fever-swamp you call a mind, just let it pass. You're like a real-life, cross-sex version of Mrs. Carmody.

If the shit ever hits the fan, you'd be first in line to try to give God a happy by beating supposed sinners to death with a fucking rock.

You've never heard of irony, have you, DJS? That's why the girl was singing. It's a device used in a lot of fiction.

Fundies don't understand subtle nuances. They have to be hit over the head with the message the entire time. That's why Christian movies suck so much. They find it impossible to use subtlety and instead go the anvilicious* route.

*Anvilicious meaning beating your audience over their heads with the message so much and so blatantly it's like inscribing it on an anvil and dropping it on them.

Fuckin stupid little,,,,

Being long time horror fans (watching the movies from the 30s up) both me and my late (this Sept 22nd) wife totally recognized what Steven King was. A horror fiction and movie fan. We saw themes in his work we had seen in 50s and 60s movies in particular and I recognized his odes to EC horror stories and seventies Marvel and Warren comics.

That's all it is. He was really good at reinventing and combining existing horror concepts to give it a fresher feel.

No Satan needed. Christianity has not only been depicted in horror movies and stories as the bad guy, it's been RIGHTFULLY depicted as the bad guy. The horrors inflicted by the churches of the past and todays headlines of religious extremism are significant.
