you know who also shouldn't vote? not all atheists but those #**@ing %#@*rags who think they're better than everyone else because they decided to become a rebel in college and consider themselves atheist because they're to #**@ing lazy to go to church and justify the switch by blindly insulting every religion and belief system on the planet

What about the religions that don't require church attendance?
By the way, isn't that just about all of them?

"Oooh, look, atheists, there's a nice role model of civility for you to emulate!"
Isn't it, though? *rolls his eyes*
See, this is why I stick to Final Fantasy 11 and Eve Online.
Gee, yeah, it's laziness. Not that the Bible is somewhere between erratic and schizophrenic on...well, anything. It's not because no matter how hard one tries, one cannot FORCE oneself to believe something they simply don't.
Oh, and denying one the right to vote on basis of religion (Or lack thereof) is unconstitutional.
In after ban :D
Goodbye troll.
nonononono i became an atheist whilst at school, because the bible is fucking evil. thats why
And yes i do consider myself beter than christians in many ways
beter drinker
better lover
better freind
bigger brain
bigger dick
i could carry on, but i fear my head will become so big it will explode over yo fundie arse

However, based on your post, it's OK to blindly insult people if you single out a particular belief system.
Am I right?
Feeling a little disgruntled because of your inadequacies? Atheists don't think their better than others. They just don't believe in supernatural entities or feel the need to worship anything or any postulated being.
The fact that you do believe is neither here nor there. In this modern age, it's unlikely that scare tactics and myths about hell will convince atheists to convert to fundamentalism.
It is certainly true that less educated people tend to fundamentalism and those better educated tend to atheism as a general rule. That can't be helped, that's just the way it is. There's no need to get all worked-up about it.
Love and peace, Pule.
When I was a mere youth, I used to go (jog actually) to church every Sunday morning, sing the hymns, put something into the collection, stay for the after service chat, join in on the activities and contribute to the church magazine.
I was still an atheist and the minister knew it, as did a good portion of the congregation. They were nice people (Methodists/URC), not at all judgemental and divisive like the fundies we see on here, and if a few saw me as a "challenge", they weren't in my face about it, didn't lie to me "for Jesus", or threaten, belittle or ostracise me for not folding like a house of cards when confronted with their "superior faith" (TM).
So when some jackass with a bible fetish starts talking of "true Christians", I always think of the Reverend Chris, Michael, Julie, Sarah, Helen, and the rest. They commanded respect, not demanded it.
Oh I agree. I hate them too. I'll let them know how stupid they are, just as soon as I find one...
*looks around*
Hmm... Nope, not over there.
Sorry, I don't speak #*(^!Q@$@@*. Your post means nothing to me until you're mature enough to type properly.
(And until you learn the difference between too, to, and two. Am I the only one who pronounces words differently in my head when they use the wrong form of one of them?)
Hmm. . . Well, I did "switch" in college, but it was hardly rebellion. I didn't even do it 'til senior year and it was simply a realization of what I've been my whole life. Laziness isn't a factor. I do volunteer work both weekend days for most of the day (and I have for nearly 3 years, and Saturdays before that for 5 more). I don't blindly insult other religions and belief systems, that's what you do. I do my research and find out what's what. Then I decide what I should do/believe based on what I discover.
Wow..so I should go over to your church and start talking like you?
Besides, I thought it wasnt about church and more about "personal relationship"
Or how about the christians who decided to become christians because the preacher said so, who are too fucking lazy to learn about science and other religions, and blindly insult every other religion on the planet.
#**@ing %#@* #**@, **)(-$#@, and furthermore, %#@* #**@, **{±}-$@.
And that's all I have to %#%!*(-$#@ing say!!!!!!!!
1: I didn't become atheist because it is cool. it is cool, indeed, but I became one because I was never religiously indoctrinated and got old enough (~ 10 years old) to tell reality from 2000-year old books talking about arks having all the species of animals in the f*king world in it.
2: you are too lazy to go to a mosque! or a synagogue! you filthy muslim & jew hater!
3: you don't just get a mindset because it's cool. that would be stupid. you get a mindset because you reason yourself into it. a step your parents have skipped for you.
In the end Christians don't bug me, I know a few who never attend church and a couple more that have abadoned the churchs.
In the end it's the church, it's particular dogma, it propagandic levels, it's villification of non-affiliated or it's pretentions of command over everyone that I really truly hate.
Jesus himself said to pray alone and to never make a show of your faith . So what do fundies do? Pile into an overbuilt momument and display yourselfs in ritualistic dogma.
PS
We've seen the fat asses that drag their unfit bodies to church, don't even pretend Christianity promotes ambition in people.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
