Nothing immoral or disordered about it. A man and a woman. It was personal hubris on the part of any Christian who objected. But homosexuality is a disordered attraction for one's own sex that goes against the very design of God (and nature). It is so profoundly different from heterosexuality that marriage was never seriously contemplated for same sex couples until the later half of the last century.

There being not word one of condemnation - certainly within the story itself - of David & Jonathan. Anything said by your J-boy on the issue is curiously conspicuous by it's absence in the NT. The fact that the authoriser of the fundies' own fap-fodder, the KJV, was as gay as they come. Also, the location of the Prostate Gland: a major male erogenous zone. And how it can be stimulated. Why, it's as if homosexuality was designed ?! Thus at a stroke is the whole concept of Cre(a)ti(o)nism utterly annihilated (to say nothing of 'Intelligent Design', but Kitzmiller vs. Dover did that already!).

Interracial marriage was not fully legalised until 1967. Both attractions to the same sex and those of different ethnicities are innate, harmless, and consensual. Both interracial marriage and same-sex marriage have been argued to be against the will of God. The analogy stands.
OK, this is just plain lying. The definition of marriage for decades in the US was a man and woman of the same race. Christians violently opposed interracial marriage on Biblical grounds, just as they now violently oppose gay marriage on those grounds.
