There is no such thing as a free theocracy. The two are incapable of binding. Least of all when the religion in question is Abrahamic. The only relationship Christianity has to the free world is that it relentlessly abused the West into birthing it and has fought a desperate, losing battle to unmake it ever since.

Killing suspects without trial violates the Fifth Amendment. Many recent Islamic terrorist attacks were perpetrated by American citizens, so the Fifth Amendment definitely applies here.
Not that this country seems to care about constitutional rights anymore. A rich white sham-Christian man can get away with anything at all, but if you're some other color and not rich, you can be stomped on or killed for showing even the slightest hint of resistance to authorities. Or sometimes just for existing.
