Wow, a theologian that thinks he knows more than every Constitutional Lawyer in the country! How unusual, generally they just think they know more than every scientist in the country...
No doubt he thinks that too though!
IDIOT!
Nope, it´s actually a definition of how to acquire the American citizenship. In other words, where you have been brought to the world, not how. Unless you´re going to give citizenship in advance.
All that's clear is that you're twisting meanings around to suit your own ends. The key word here is born . The un born do not fit into that category.
Oh, and by the way? Women are people too, and since they have been born then your little crusade to put the rights of the unborn above theirs just might go against this particular ammendment. Not that I expect you to do anything other than ignore that.

Oh, yeah. Clearly . That's the first thing I thought of when I saw "all persons born " - it obviously means "unborn", too. That's clear as hell. It's like when the Constitution says "The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State", it's obvious that they really meant three senators from each state. Sheesh. Can't people read?!! [/sarcasm]
He contradicted himself in one sentence.
No, he didn't.
I hate to say this, but most of the people commenting on this post have just plain misunderstood what Trosch was trying to say here.
He's saying that, since the Constitution mentions "all persons born", the Constitution IMPLIES that there is also such a thing as persons who aren't born.
Of course, he's full of it. The 14th Amendment starts with "All persons born or naturalized in the United States". It's not distinguishing between "born persons" and "unborn persons" at all, it's distinguishing between persons born in the U.S. and persons born outside the U.S..
Just because he's wrong doesn't mean he's contradicting himself.
Actually, I think "all persons born" means "all persons born ," Father Trosch.
Incidentally, giving fetuses person-status subjects them to the laws which say that no person may be forced to let another use their body's resources (blood, womb, etc). So that still nullifies anti-abortionists.
Hey, Father Dipshit, cite some authority for this proposition or STFU.
Oh wait, there isn't any. You fail.
But...ah...they are specifically NOT born. If it said conceived, or existing, or something, you might have a case. But born is the moment that person leaves the womb. Not a second before.
Confused?
