And we have learned, after years of doing this and seeing literally thousands of stories like this that, you know what, if it's in the Bible, science is eventually going to show that that's the right stuff and the right thing to do.

many comments point out the absurdity of science proving the awful commands in the bible to be correct someday.
this one is too easy to ridicule, but what made me laugh was the mental image of some scientists (far side style) doing experiments to prove why it was good to execute people who picked up sticks on the sabbath.
