I'm not ok with paramedics letting a man die. BUT this is a a demonstration that the CHAZ has little idea what civilization is made of and therefore can offer no meaningful guidance. Police protect all, including the fire department. Is it fair to bar cops and demand paramedics?

The police are gassing protesters and pushed a 75 year old man to the ground, hitting his head. Several have even resigned because their colleagues are being held accountable for their actions.

So hell yeah, they're justified. I haven't seen any paramedics do any of that stuff.

What I’ve looked up about this one, apparently the protestors here have insisted that they have seceded, and this was their reasoning for demanding no police. But then they demanded paramedics, who worked for the same municipal system, to come to the site of a shooting. I’m sorry to tell everyone here, but paramedics are not supposed to go into those situations without a police escort, and as asshole as some of Weinstein’s followers sound, one consequence of secession is you no longer receive services of the nation and government you’ve seceded from.

Yes, cops in many places have been assholes, and their departments have protected these assholes, but secession isn’t going to accomplish anything unless they’re ready to actually establish their own government and their own services, because this is exactly what’s going to keep happening in the future.

I am curious though … who was the shooter.

The fact that this particular person was at a Black Lives Matter protest here in Britain...:
