An infant is a child between birth and learning to speak. There are no infanticide centers nowadays (to my knowledge). There were quite a lot of them about a hundred years ago, before legal abortions were available. Back then, people left their unwanted but born children at baby-farms, (or angel-makers, in Swedish), where the kids soon starved to death or were "accidentally" drowned at bathing time. The baby-farms/angel-makers got money to take in the children, but not enough to care for them, so they got rid of them, so they could take in new kids and get new money. This, in my book, is much more horrible, than removing a non-sentient embryo in the early stages of pregnancy.
Unless she had a very, very late abortion, usually only done when there is something seriously wrong with the fetus, or when the woman's life is at risk, your son/daughter (might not be distinguishable at that time, as all embryos start out as female (that's why we all have nipples)) was not able to feel anything whatsoever, as the nervous system wasn't developed enough to register, well, anything.
Most early abortions are done by taking two pills and then going home to have what looks and feels like a late menstruation. Neither smoothie scrape, paste nor suction, really. But thanks for sharing your vivid gruesome imagination, akky. Or not...
Yeah, maybe next time you'll actually be there for your wife/girlfriend, and show that you'll be a good father who will be THERE for your child through thick and thin until it's eighteen years and beyond.
