Fail. Actually, i don't hate god. I'm not a full fledged atheist. I was an Evangelical pastor at one time. I have just seen too much shit in my life to really think that there is a God who cares. Is there a God? Maybe... But if there is, I'm not wasting any more of my time groveling to him, begging him to forgive my sin and trying to live up to standards that are impossible to keep. And no, I don't hate God. I DO HATE fundies that try to tell me I'm going to hell for turning my back on Jebus...
I hate your god about as much as I hate Zeus, ruler of Mount Olympus. You're trying to vindicate your god by claiming atheists hate him, but the truth is much worse: we think he's not real. And I bet you're deep-down scared that we're right.

I actually quite like the concept of God. It would be nice to live in a world where there was someone or something looking out for the whole species.
But this is not that world, this is reality, and God does not exist, especially not your one.

All this time, I've secretly believed that God exists -- and not just ANY God, the God of the Old and New Testaments -- and have been pretending to the whooooooole world that I don't believe in Him. All because I really hate Him and am trying to undermine Him by convincing people He's not real.

Hey I went over there and read stuff. This caperlane explained that most people are agnostic or don't care one way or the other. They said the ones labeling themselves atheists are really god haters cause of all the weird stuff they pull against religious people.
There's a few threads with alot of posters discussing the subject. This comment is taken out of context from what I've read over there.
I don't believe in a god like most religions. Maybe a force. I don't know. I don't care what anyone else believes. As long as it doesn't come to my front door.
