Why do homosexuals lie and hide the truth?

Gay people are okay on a one to one basis I don't mind them at all. As a group they tend to be some of the biggest tricksters out there.

1. Most of them have alot of anonymous gay sex partners.

2. They engage in unprotected sex with lots of men anonymously.

3. They are spreading AIDS like wildfire in the US among themselves by behaving sexually irresponsible, see above.

4. When you see a gay person on television you never hear anything about the above. They are just sweet funny folks who happen to be hip to the scene and color coordinated.

Why can't there be honesty and openness about this instead of bashing people who question the wisdom of accepting this irresponsible behavior/lifestyle with labels like homophobic. Is what gays do in the bedroom so indefensible to themselves that they refuse to be open about discussing it?

1. Why can't I have a lot of anonymous gay sex partners? Preferably ones who've been STD tested, but that would be a necessity if I were straight or gay.

2. I don't have unprotected sex with lots of men anonymously. That's kind of the definition of a gay woman, isn't it? Oh, wait, you don't acknowledge lesbians.

4. See above. Re: any crime/medical show. There are consequences for unprotected hetero AND homo sex. There are victims for both, there are aggressors for both. Because we're all human.

For all this emphasis on anonymous orgies, do I sense a little envy? You know, that's one of the deadly sins.

I'm perfectly open about the fact that there are a lot of single gays, virgin gays, polyamorous gays, monogamous gays, etc. Guess what, they're in the hetero population as well. Perfectly honest and perfectly open. Stop trying to make us into something we're not.

My gay friends are as likely to be slutty as my straight friends, but more likely to be safe about it.

HIV is currently spreading like wildfire among straight, minority populations as well. Unfortunately, that is what happens when you limit people's access to information with your moral policing that is far more dangerous than any kind of sex done safely.

When you see a person on TV, if it's a fictional character, they're probably a sterotype. If it's a real person, they've been carefully selected to fit a stereotype.

And, get a fucking clue. What they do in the bedroom isn't your damn business, and maybe they don't want to discuss it because so many people think it's disgusting, sinful, etc. They don't enjoy envisioning your missionary-style enjoyment-free sex either.

Also, a counter question: why do fundies hate everyone different from them while picking and choosing from their bible?

That explains why most homosexuals are monogamous (according to numerous studies and surveys). Although I can see why a homosexual would want a homosexual partner, you know, the whole "consensual sex" thing and all.

So it's a crime that they don't say "we have unprotected sex and go to orgies!" out of the blue?
Also, why wouldn't we be nice? Especially on national or international television? No need to get violent here.
Now tell me: what colour coordination? Sure some do, some don't. It comes down to something called "style."

Last time I checked, we are honest (unless we're in the closet for fear of negative repercussions). We didn't choose to be homosexual, we didn't choose to be hated, and we certainly didn't choose to have people caring in the first place.

You hate us so you are, by definition: a homophobe. Also, what questionable behavior? Short of who we love, there is no core difference between a homosexual person and a heterosexual person. There are bound to be some questionable people who live irresponsibly, regardless of orientation.

Everytime we defend it, you tell us to go to hell. Literally. Also, given that you refuse to believe that homosexuality isn't a choice, what other defense do we have? The only other option is submission.
Also, it would help the whole "coming out and being open" if gay bashers weren't around and if people didn't whine about how "unnecessary" it is to come out of the closet.

PS: Sorry in advance if this isn't my most coherent post (dare I say it may be the least, but hey: price of writing before work).

One, if a person dies, that person is UNABLE to die and hide something. It's utterly impossible. Second, can people as a group have anonymous lovers(who are part of the group, by the way. And what does it mean anonymous?, that they don't know the name of the person they're sleeping with or that the rest of the world doesn't?), have sex in group and unprotected and spread AIDS among themselves(remember, they are a group).
Sarcasm apart, for obvious technical reasons, the above acts are accountable for INDIVIDUALS, not for a whole group and, honestly, the same happens with straight people.
When you see a gay person on the tv you never hear about that because that person most probably doesn't have that problem and because straight people with similar problems don't make you know it either. When you see somebody in the tv, they may or may not tell you their lives and, anyway, the irresponsability you speak about neither affects you and, I insist, it's a question of individuals and not constrainted to homosexuals. Straight and bi behave like that as well. That it's why they refuse to discuss something which is not arguable.

Your whole reasoning is ridiculous, but particularly point four. When we see a gay person on television, this is either a gay celebrity talking about him or herself or a fictional character. I hope you do understand what fiction means. If they are real people, they may not fit in your stereotype, and so they don't have to give you any explanation at all, or they just don't want to talk about that. And they have their right to, just like straight ones(this is not Big Brother). Second, if they are fictional characters, again, it's up to the screenwriter to decide which they tell, and some of them rely on stereotypes. Besides, why don't they show it?, well, because, sometimes, the actors are not even gay(ask Gale Harold, Bryan in Queer as folk), and we come back to the original question. If you know so much to overgeneralise, I guess that you've met a lot of gay people, and, worse off, in their bedrooms, care to explain how's that?

You ARE aware that a group consists of many of those who are OK on a one to one basis, right?

1. How do you know that? Have you interviewed most gays?
2. Lesbians don't engage in sex with men at all.
3. Most people contracting AIDS today are heterosexual. Many ignorant young people think that only gays can contract AIDS, so they don't protect themselves.
4. Gays are just like everyone else, they are not funnier nor sweeter nor more hip nor more color coordinated than anyone else. There are homosexual mean slobs just as there are heterosexual mean slobs. There are effeminate heterosexual males and there are butch heterosexual females.

There IS honesty and openness about it, that's why you never hear inane prejudices like yours presented as facts.
If you hate/fear people just for being homosexuals, then you are a homophobe.
Do YOU want to openly discuss what YOU do in the bedroom? I know I don't, that's kinda private.

If you only ask gay men who already have fullblown AIDS, then yes; you probably get a large percentage who have had unprotected sex.

I don't hate you, I merely wonder why you hate people who haven't done anything to you, people who are just trying to live their lives in peace, with hopefully a little bit of happiness in them.
