I do not now, nor have I ever had a "god hole," which I assume means some sort of empty space in my heart.
Also, I don't like alcohol, I have never done drugs, and I don't care about sex.
In other words, you fail at thinking.
What is with the "god hole" thing? Weren't the RR cult talking about a "god hole" a few weeks ago?

I actually understand this "God Hole". When I was a fundie I felt it. It's the part of you that feels like it's lacking, something is seriously lacking in your life. So you try doing more prayer, more fasting, more praising, more lying for Jesus, but it's still there. This "hole" is what makes fundies faith so weak, why they get so vicious when their faith is questioned.
It's what Mother Teresa was talking about when she felt that God was absent from her life. It's like being a child who believes in Santa, but whose parents are so poor that they cant get you any gifts.
Funny how I no longer have that feeling since I left fundiehood behind.
And you're using God the same way some use alcohol, drugs, or sex -- as an ego-boost, to feel "worthy", because you have no self-esteem. "Sin" is a lie.
@Antichrist -- I do believe that's called clinical depression. These guys need to get medicated, fast! (Antidepressants and a healthy dose of vitamin D should do it.)
Overgrown schoolboy that I am, I'm laughing far more than I should at the term "God hole". I've heard of the god of the gaps, but this is ridiculous. Anyway, I don't think atheists have the monopoly on alcohol, drugs and sex (thankfully!)
