So, there is gen of Republicans or Democrats? should we still be living in the caves, according to you?, and how do you explain people who shift their votes, why so many campaigns to gather votes?, how do you explain conversion or born-again Christians?

Some character traits are present at birth and presist into adulthood. Perhaps some of these lead one to be a life-long conservative, though I'd bet there is a significant environmental contribution too. For example, stupidity can be present at birth, and a stupid child, raised by ignorant, bigoted, Fundie parents, is probably going to be a life-long stupid, ignorant Fundie conservative. A brighter child is more likely to be able to escape such a fate. Too bad about Voegelin.
Um...political orientation is a human construct. I would say you can't be born with something like that.

People are members of a party for many reasons, but factually, the strongest influence is that of the parent. most people will find that their parents are members of the party they belong to. (check it out!) Economics determines the second reason one belongs to a particular party. (fact) I taught American Government so I know this is a fact. This bullshit shall not stand. Voegelin and gg are both liars, have no knowledge of their subject and never taught anything to anyone - typical of the internet. The point does not "go right over our heads" because there isn't one. It's just a bunch of pseudo-intellectual words thrown together at random in an attempt to intimidate us with vocabulary they don't understand.
