Plants don't die. They wither and fade.
Death only applies to things created on day 5 and after, with the "breath of life".

So with a bit of love, care and attention that teak sideboard can just burst out again in the lush foliage it once had?
Tell you what, LW, go plant a field with some pressure-treated two-by-fours, and when you've managed to convince them to grow back into a pine forest, I might believe you.
Until that day, you're a fucktard!

I can understand what he means, on a literal level: the ancient Hebrews didn't think plants were alive because they didn't have the "breath of life" that people and animals did...but otherwise, yeah, full of crazininess.
@John - fish were day 5 and have the breath of life by that definition.
Of course, the "breath of life" bit comes from the creation story that has humans created before plants...
O_o
i'm trying to deduce the logic ... and i fail.
the only conclusion i can draw is that your definition of the word 'die' must be different then the normal definition.
to make your statements more lucid and less subject to mocking, i suggest that you use the dictionary definitions of words. if you ever feel the need to depart from the dictionary definition, please provide your alternate definition for the ease of the reader.
but, as you have not taken any precautions to make your statement understandable, i am justified in saying:
you fail.
"I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds." John 12:24
You're a moron.
