O.O
Why is it that if anyone other than a "good christian" acted like this they'd be hauled off and pumped with thorozine? "I don't want to see any stars ..!" I have been educated in .. stuff!" "*I want out of this!!!" ??
*(She said this AFTER she returned home and the dirty deed of seeing a star, setting eyes upon a Buda flag, being in the presence of a psychic, and breathing Wiccan air was done).
Marguerite (Margaret?) has a serious mental illness, and the xtain community (and family) allows an environment where people like this are encouraged by calling them (or allowing them to call themselves) warriors for god, prayer warrior, spiritual warrior or god's voice or wrath, etc. Instead, they should be taking those children out of the home, no . . . the hen-pecked husband should be taking them out and finding Marguerite medical help.
Can you image the damage this woman has done to her children? This is child abuse. If I'd ranted like this with my children (sans the godly right) social services would have been called for a much needed intervention.
It comes as no surprise that while on the dork side Marguerite refused to take part in anything Jeanne's family did and in fact used a rant like that in the video to get the other family into a church.
For a brief period, when Jeanne (as this was an exchange) was there, Marguerite's children basked in the presence of normalcy and acceptance. I hope they can build on that.
At first I thought the drama and insane behavior was a show. Knowing her brother's and sister's in service of the lorwahd would be watching later, she just couldn't be okay with it all; they'd think her a sellout. Hmm. Marguerite agreed to this exchange knowing the other family was wiccan; she did it for the money. It was all about money. She happily and knowingly took "tainted" money. Now I wonder again if this all isn't a put-on to save her reputation as a spiritual warrior for god. And she did in the end take the money .. but let's compare how each woman allocated the $50,000. (From the site LightI3ulb posted: http://www.fox.com/tradingspouses/recaps/202.htm)
"Later, we learn what Jeanne had earmarked for the family. Ashley got $5,000 to pay for dance certification, $10,000 to help Ashley and Abigail move to their own place, $15,000 for Barry to spend on the family, and $20,000 for Margaret to get the gastric bypass surgery that she wanted. Upon further review and possibly prayer, Margaret decided to take the money."
"She's given the Flishers $400 to get rid of their possessed dryer, $3,000 to Elliott to buy a dirt bike, $3,000 to Miles for whatever he wants, $1,800 for Jeanne to spend on Emma, engraved King James Bibles for the group and $36,000 for sustaining the family."
The warrior focused on material things, albeit a dryer was much needed but it could have been bought with the "sustaining the family" money. Bibbles?? Like giving a christmas tree to a Muslim. Compare to Jeanne who was very specific in how her choices would help individuals. In my opinion the closed mind failed to see the people and didn't desire to know them as individuals (Miles for whatever he wants). I hope Ashley and Abigail get the hell out of Dodge and never look back (lest they turn into pillars of salt).
Note: Charleston Heston could have taken lessons from this woman; his line would have been so much more impressive with that righteous screech .. IS PEOPLE, SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE!! But apparently, Wiccans aren't. *shakes head*
I need a higher fundie rating than five.
