.. it gets from sun. Earth runs on its orbit with none of the above. Where do you think the Sun getting it energy to rotate in its orbit? Why did science think once that the Sun does not move and is still, while Bible foretold years back that the Sun moves? Stars and Planets are given energy within themselves to move perfectly in their respective orbits. They don't get it from each other. Gravity is not the force that makes earth rotate in its orbit; gravity only attracts, it does not push (to cause to move forward or around).

How did these planets and stars got its own "energy" to move on?
